Walt Lemmermann
Walt Lemmermann has a robust background in business and nonprofit work. Work experience includes: CPA at Price Waterhouse (audit & acquisitions), LTV Corporation (management consultant), Levi Strauss (management consultant), First Republic Bank (Chief Financial Officer of bank subsidiary), Advantage Enterprises (President). He is currently at Advantage Capital – leasing company (Managing Member). He also has extensive nonprofit operational experience. This includes: Yosemite Conservancy board (past 10 yrs); Sausalito Park & Recreation Commissioner (3 yr term in 1990s); Hope Unlimited for Children board – educational/residential facility in Brazil for rescuing street kids (10 yrs) wclpersonal@gmail.com
Patty Neubacher
Patty Neubacher retired in 2016, after 34 years in the National Park Service. At the end of her career, she was the Deputy Regional Director, Pacific West Region. Her portfolio included overseeing financial, personnel, and contracting offices for the approximately 60 parks in the western United States. She has a MBA Degree from University of California, Davis Campus and a Bachelor of Art Degree from University of California, Santa Barbara.
Tom Baty
Tom Baty, environmentalist and outdoor enthusiast, has been involved in the preservation of outdoor spaces for over 30 years. He was formerly an advisor for California’s Marine Life Protection Act implementation that led to marine protected areas on approximately 20% of California Coast. He has been involved in countless nonprofit organizations including as advisor for Audubon Canyon Ranch and as a member of the Tomales Bay Watershed Council.
Don Neubacher
Recently retired, Don Neubacher recently completed a 36 year career in the National Park Service (NPS) that has included appointments at Point Reyes National Seashore, Glacier Bay National Park, Denver Service Center, Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Yosemite National Park and serving as the Deputy General Manager and Planning Director for the Presidio of San Francisco. Formerly, he was a lecturer at California’s Humboldt State University in Northern California. His expertise includes: park management, climate change, resource protection and restoration, youth programs, relevancy, international sister parks, and resource planning. He has the following degrees: University of California, B.S. Degree in Environmental Planning and Management, 1976: and Humboldt State University, M.S. Degree in Resource Management, 1983.
Sally Bolger
Sally Bolger is a writer, explorer and conservationist who works around the world in on-the-ground efforts to protect and restore our planet and returns to tell the tales. Sally’s career has spanned a wide variety of environmental protection endeavors, including establishing a successful Electric Vehicle technology startup, managing the Giacomini Wetlands Restoration Project in Point Reyes, founding the Fund for People in Parks, and working with the original peoples of Madagascar, the Amazon, and Colombia in their efforts to protect their lands, natural resources, and ways of life. Among her publications is Fun in the Mud – A Wetlands Tale, a Nautilus Award-winning children’s book that invites readers to curiosity, and through creating curiosity, opens the door to the wonders of the natural world. Sally has a BS in Business Management/Accounting from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a JD from UC Hastings.
